1:1 EFT / Tapping

Tapping with Bex
Where Modern Psychology Meets Ancient Wisdom
Break Through Emotional Blockages and Journey to Joy…
Are you ready to transform your life with the power of EFT?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often called Tapping, is a revolutionary stress reduction method that bridges the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with cutting-edge discoveries in modern psychology and neuroscience.
At its core, EFT is like acupuncture without the needles, a technique where you gently tap on key meridian points on your body while focusing on specific emotions, memories, or challenges.
This unique combination of cognitive processing and physical tapping helps rewire the brain, calm the nervous system, and clear stuck emotional energy that holds you back.
EFT is more than a quick fix.
It’s the key to dismantling deep-rooted patterns, releasing outdated beliefs, and reclaiming your freedom to live a life of joy, resilience, purpose and abundance.
What is EFT?
Developed by Gary Craig in the 1990s and backed by researchers like Dr. Peta Stapleton, EFT is a powerful therapeutic tool based on the idea that emotional distress disrupts the body’s energy system, the same system mapped thousands of years ago in acupuncture.
Rather than using needles, EFT uses fingertip tapping on meridian endpoints (the body’s energetic superhighways), while talking through emotions, memories, or challenges.
A little bit of science for you….. this somatic-cognitive pairing does two things:
It sends calming signals directly to the amygdala (the brain’s fear center), helping to lower the fight-flight-freeze response.
It disrupts and re-patterns the emotional memory, allowing your body and mind to create new, healthier neural pathways.
In fact, clinical research has shown that EFT can reduce stress and increased happiness. The following research paper offers current insight into EFT, to read more, please see the link below:

It’s like pressing “reset” on your emotional wiring — and saying hello back to you.
Why EFT Works
Modern studies using brain imaging and cortisol testing have shown that EFT affects the brain’s limbic system. This is the emotional centre of the brain and in doing so it can help to calm the autonomic nervous system.
It helps integrate the mind, body, and energy field in a way traditional therapies often miss.
Through repeated tapping and focused intention, EFT helps to:
-
Deactivate emotional triggers
-
Neutralise past trauma
-
Rebuild self-worth and confidence
-
Strengthen emotional resilience
In short, EFT helps you break the old loops running in your subconscious, giving you the freedom to rewrite your story.
Each session begins by taking a moment to arrive and ground. We talk, breathe and use EFT to work with whatever feels most relevant for you in that present moment.
Working together creates a soft, supportive, and completely judgement-free space, where nothing is too much. It’s a place where you can speak your truth, feel truly heard, and move at your own pace.
You might come with a clear idea of what you’d like to work on, or you might not, we can figure that out together.
EFT is gentle and effective and my hope is together we can lower any emotional charge that lives in the body that is no longer serving you.
You don’t need the right words. You don’t need a clear goal.
