A Few Important Things to Know
EFT Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 2026
Bex Bridgford – EFT Practitioner
EFT: EFT is distinct from counselling or psychological therapy. I am not a licensed healthcare professional and do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions. If an issue arises that I’m not qualified to address, I may recommend you seek alternate treatment.
Talking vs. Tapping:
EFT is not talk therapy. While there will be some discussion and I will ask questions, the primary focus is on tapping to help you achieve your goals. I may interrupt you to ensure we use our time effectively, this is not meant to be rude but to maximise the benefits of our session.
Privacy:
Our sessions are confidential. I will take notes, which are stored securely and not disclosed without your permission. If confidentiality concerns arise, there are techniques we can use to maintain privacy. Please communicate any discomfort you feel during our sessions.
Fees:
Fees are based on the package you choose and must be paid 24 hours in advance of your first session. No refunds are issued for missed sessions unless we have discussed it.
Cancellation Policy:
Missed sessions incur a charge unless cancelled at least 24 hours in advance or in the case of an emergency.
Sessions:
We will meet either in person or via zoom. I’ll send you an invitation link for online sessions.
Please ensure you are in a safe environment and that it is private, you have water available to you and you have signed the waiver. The first session will include an introduction to EFT and tapping instruction for self-use, addressing complex issues gradually.
What to Expect:
EFT involves tapping on specific points on the body while discussing events and emotions. It works on both the conscious and subconscious levels, aiming to resolve past traumas and enhance present and future well-being. Complex issues may require multiple sessions.
Disclosure:
I am a certified EFT Advanced Level 3 Practitioner.
EFT is based on promoting balance in the body’s energies to enhance health and well-being. It involves tapping on specific areas while addressing emotional memories and anticipations.
EFT has been researched extensively and has shown to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of distressing memories.
I do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions. EFT is complementary to professional healthcare and requires your active involvement between sessions.
Confidentiality:
Your confidentiality is paramount, with a few exceptions, such as in cases of abuse, threats of harm, or legal proceedings. If communication occurs via email, please note that it is not completely confidential.
By continuing, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Bex and associates from any claims or liabilities arising from your sessions. You agree to the terms and conditions stated here, and by continuing to work with me, you acknowledge full control of your intellectual abilities.
